An addition of a whole residence to a long loved historic family lake house. Maintaining the charm of the original cottage with its wrap around glassed in porch, and treehouse like bedrooms, we added an energy efficient year round living quarters in around, and under the existing cottage. Pulling material and color cues from the historic buildings we sought to place a modern place of repose and ease for full time dwelling.
